What does the ACRM Graph Connector sync?

The Graph Connector is a background synchronization service that runs continuously and keeps Microsoft 365 and Aurea CRM in step. It covers the four data types your team touches every day:

• Email sync. Customer correspondence synced into the CRM so the full communication history is visible to anyone who works the account, not just the person who sent the message.
• Calendar and appointment sync. Calendar events flow between Outlook and Aurea CRM, so meetings with customers are logged automatically and visible in the activity timeline.
• Task sync. Follow-ups and to-dos created in either system stay consistent in both.
• Contact sync. Contact records stay aligned between your Outlook address book and Aurea CRM, reducing duplicate entries and stale information.

Sync intervals are configurable. A typical setup refreshes emails and appointments every ten minutes, with contacts syncing once a day. Your administrators can adjust these to match your team’s rhythm.

Built on Microsoft Graph API for long-term compatibility

Microsoft is retiring its legacy mail APIs (Exchange Web Services). Organizations running modern Microsoft 365 tenants need a CRM connector that speaks the API Microsoft is investing in going forward.

The ACRM Graph Connector is built entirely on the Microsoft Graph API, the platform Microsoft recommends and actively develops. That means you’re on the modern, supported integration path, not on a legacy connector that will need replacing again in a year or two.

It also means the connector authenticates at the tenant level through a standard Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) app registration, using client credentials rather than per-user passwords. One registration, admin-consented once, covers every enabled mailbox in your organization.

Replacing the legacy EWS CRM connector

If you’ve been using the previous ACRM connector (CRM.connectLive, MAPI/EWS-based), the Graph Connector is its modern successor. It delivers the same core email and calendar sync capability on a Microsoft-supported foundation.

For customers still running on-premise Exchange with the classic Outlook connector, that connector remains fully supported. The Graph Connector is specifically for Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) environments.

CRM permissions control which mailboxes sync

The connector synchronizes only the mailboxes of users who are explicitly enabled for sync in Aurea CRM. Administrators choose which users participate, and the connector respects that boundary. There is no blanket sweep of every mailbox in your tenant.

Data flows through Aurea CRM’s existing interfaces and business logic. The connector does not write directly to the CRM database or bypass application-layer rules.
